Aerospace and military identification
Lintec Graphic Films offers a bespoke range of uniquely durable solutions designed to withstand exposure to chemical and biological environments, air pressure extremes, thermal shock and prolonged solar radiation. Applications include variable information identification of portable field equipment, vehicles, fixed and rotary wing aircraft, surface ships, submarines and munitions.
In the absence of conventional films capable of meeting the required military specification, we have bespoke engineered new films and adhesives. These solutions push the boundaries of pre-existing self-adhesive labels and comply with the highly demanding test methods used by the military, including Ministry of Defence Standard 00-35 (standard requirements for the environmental conditions experienced by defence materials in service).
These products also lend themselves to use on commercial aircraft where, for example, exterior brand labels need to withstand extreme climatic fluctuation combined with intense UV exposure, wind speed shear and attack from aggressive aviation hydraulic fluids. Other applications include material used for the production of mandatory markings, information labeling, component barcode identification and security labels for passenger and cargo doors.
As applications for both military and aerospace surfaces have very particular requirements, we engineer solutions and undertake application testing on a case-by-case development basis with our customers.
